Gary Stout – CEO/Founder

Gary started Buzworthy in 2012 as a side project to help startups grow their online presence.   Prior to Buzzworthy, Gary worked at Groupon’s NYC office as one of the leading sales agents generating over $2m in revenue.  After Groupon, Gary joined a team of 4 to create an innovative mobile app for a startup called CardSpark.  While at CardSpark, Gary and the team raised $1.5M in venture capital from multiple firms to build the team and the software.  During that two year stint with two diverse companies, Buzzworthy grew to over 100 clients.  Gary hails from Philadelphia, studied Marketing at Temple University’s Fox School of Business, and is a depressed Eagles fan.

Ryan McManimie –   Co-Founder

After working with such large corporations as Microsoft and Intuit to create and engineer small business solutions, Ryan decided to take his talents to Buzzworthy in order to collaborate more closely with his ideal client base. Ryan is intimately familiar with the workflow, needs and challenges that startups and smaller companies face, having developed web and desktop applications to address their specific needs for past decade. Ryan is a Penn State grad, works as the Lead Developer with 3Doodler, and enjoys playing Whitney Houston songs on his guitar.

Marko Jovanovic – CTO/Partner

With Masters in engineering from Belgrade University,  Marko bring 16 years experience to the Buzzworthy team.   Marko has held roles of CTO, VP of Operations, and CEO.  He’s worked for both startups and large corporations and founded his own company, Mind Mining,  in 2008.   Marko’s biggest frustration in life is when he doesn’t know how something works, not simply software—he’s mastered that, but he has to know how everything works.  That’s the engineer in him.

Eve Maguire – Marketing

With an MSc in Marketing and experience in both start-ups and multinationals, Eve left Dublin looking for a fresh place to apply her skills and found it quickly at Buzzworthy. Specializing in content and social media marketing, Eve works with different channels to increase customer reach, engagement and acquisition. She tackles problems with a mix of logic and creativity and will do what it takes to get results. Eve loves NYC buskers, self-serve fro-yo, and her family dog, aptly named Buzz.

Kris Jones – SEO/Partner

Kris is a serial entrepreneur, angel investor, best-selling author, accomplished public speaker and dedicated philanthropist. Kris first took the business world by storm in 1999 when he founded Pepperjam, a full-service internet marketing agency and affiliate network that was sold to eBay.  Kristopher is the author of the best-selling book: “Search-Engine Optimization: Your Visual Blueprint to Effective Internet Marketing” which has sold over 100,000 copies.

Dave Murphy – UX Design

Dave hails from the City of Brotherly Love.  He graduated from The Art Institute of Philadelphia focused on digital media.  After spending 5 years in San Francisco he made his way to New York City.  When not designing cool websites, Dave can be found watching and reciting Wes Anderson and Woody Allen movies.  And you thought you were cool.

Dan Kolb – Web Design

Dan is a New York nomad.  He has a  degree in Graphic Design, Cinema & Screen Studies  from SUNY Oswego.  Dan has done graphic design for the All Star Academy which airs on the Food Network.   Dan is skilled in CSS/HTML, JavaScript and  WordPress.  He’s got a designers eye which makes him a rare breed.  Dan is a refined outdoorsmen, avid media consumer, and dreams in pixels.

Devon Taylor – Copywriting

Devon  is a writer and editor with extensive experience in copywriting and marketing.  She is the editor in chief of The Timbre, an online magazine devoted to audio storytelling.  Her work has been featured in The Atlantic, Thrillist, and CutBank, among other publications.  She has also written web content, press release, articles, and blog posts for dozens of businesses, including tech startups and large corporations.

Evelyn Boyle – Sales/Marketing

Born and raised in Ireland, Ev specialized in Communications and has a masters in Marketing from Dublin Institute of Technology. She was involved in the social enterprise society at Dublin City University and winning an all-Ireland competition led her to present an original social enterprise business model on the national stage in Washington, DC. In her spare time she enjoys the “cinema”, socializing and traveling!
